Winning World Cup silver and bronze, European bronze and World Championship gold in her first season, Gillian made an impact right from the start of her time in the sport.
It was a highly succesful 2009 season following which she went on to represent Team GB at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
A switch to the driver's seat last season saw Gillian competing on the Europa Cup circuit before returning to braking for the final World Cup race of the season and World Championships.
At the inaugrual World Cup Push Championships in Cesana Gillian finished 4th, the first athlete from outside Canada.
