In September 2002 Paula joined the Royal Signals in the British Army where she began her career as a Radio Systems Operator.
Prior to bobsleigh she was a ''jack of all trades'' in sport, competing in Rugby, athletics, rounders, badminton and boxing at Corp and Army level.
But it wasn't until 2006 that she found her calling as a brakewomen behind Jackie Gunn on the Europa Cup and World Cup.
She then turned to driving at the age of 20, and has never looked back since.
Paula has had some great results including the first ever British women to win the World Junior Champion title.
She now has her sights set on producing some good World Class performances.
